Distributed Hybrid Electric Propulsion System
A new propulsion system concept that uses a conventional engine to drive a generator, which in turn supplies power to multiple motors and propellers distributed across the wings or fuselage. These motors then drive the propellers, providing the vast majority or even all of the thrust (while the engine itself may contribute only partially to the thrust or not provide any thrust at all).
