[Reprinted] The Xi'an Jiaotong University Xinjiang Alumni Digital Intelligence Forum and the 2025-2026 Annual Meeting Were Held
On January 11, the Xi'an Jiaotong University Xinjiang Alumni Digital Intelligence Forum, themed “Uniting the Affection for Tian Shan Jiaotong University—Together Building the Brilliant Chinese Dream,” was held in Urumqi, along with the 2025–2026 Alumni Conference. Shan Zhiwei, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Xi'an Jiaotong University, sent a congratulatory video message to the conference. Also in attendance were Xu Jiahui, Director of the Alumni Relations Development Department at Xi'an Jiaotong University; Gao Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Materials Science; Zhao Li, Deputy Secretary-General of the Education Foundation and Deputy Director of the Alumni Relations Development Department; and Cai Lihong, Deputy Director of the National Defense Technology Division at the Research Institute. Over 300 participants—including representatives from the university’s colleges and functional departments, alumni from Xinjiang, representatives from alumni associations across various regions, and guests from diverse sectors—attended the event. The conference was co-hosted by alumni Ding Fenghua and Yang Cui.

On January 13, Yan Jiangbin, a second-level inspector from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, along with two other members of his delegation, visited the China-Russia (Xinjiang) International Laboratory for an inspection and research tour, accompanied by Yuan Jianhua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ganquanbao Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Zhao Kai, Director of the Management Committee. During the visit, they gained an in-depth understanding of the laboratory’s progress in scientific research, the commercialization of technological achievements, and their industrial application and promotion. Liu Lixin, Assistant Director of the laboratory, delivered a briefing and made a presentation.
