On April 17, the 2025 Education, Science & Technology, and Talent Integrated Fun Sports Meet of Zhuji City was successfully held at Phase III of Hangzhou Port. The event was organized by the Zhuji City Bureau of Science and Technology, with co-organizers including the Zhuji Municipal Party Committee’s Talent Office, the Zhuji Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Zhuji Science and Technology City Construction and Management Office, and Jiyang College of Zhejiang A&F University. Professor Wang Weidong, Chief Scientist of the Sino-Russian (Zhuji) International Laboratory, led his team to participate in the competition.

On April 17, the 2025 Integrated Sports Meet for Education, Science & Technology, and Talent in Zhuji City was successfully held at Phase III of Hangzhou Port. The event was organized by the Zhuji City Bureau of Science and Technology, with co-organizers including the Zhuji Municipal Committee’s Talent Office, the Zhuji City Development Commission, the Zhuji City Science and Technology City Construction and Management Office, and Jiyang College of Zhejiang A&F University. Professor Wang Weidong, Chief Scientist of the Sino-Russian (Zhuji) International Laboratory, led his team to participate in the competition.

This fun sports meet is themed “Empowering with Technology—Unlimited Vitality” and features five events: Pursuing Dreams in the Blue Sky, Strategizing with Foresight, Steadfastly Moving Forward, Gathering Momentum for Launch, and Jointly Painting the Blueprint. A total of 10 teams from municipal government agencies, science and technology innovation platforms, universities, and enterprises are participating in the competition. More than 10 employees from the Sino-Russian (Zhuji) International Laboratory have formed a team to take part in the event.

On the sports field, the employees participating from the laboratory were full of energy and brimming with fighting spirit, fully demonstrating their spirit of unity, collaboration, and eagerness to take the lead.

“Chasing Dreams in the Blue Sky” and “Gathering Momentum, Ready to Go”—these embody the harmonious blend of skill and speed; “Steadfastly Moving Forward” reflects the competition of unity and seamless teamwork; and “Together Painting the Blueprint” and “Strategizing from the Command Post”—these highlight the clash of wisdom and strategic acumen. The lab team works together with one heart and one mind, boldly taking on challenges and striving relentlessly, upholding the spirit of “friendship first, competition second,” and fully demonstrating the collective strength of being united as one and pulling together as a single rope.

In the thrilling and exciting competition, the laboratory’s team “gave it their all and pushed beyond their limits.” After several rounds of intense competition, the Sino-Russian (Zhuji) International Laboratory team demonstrated remarkable spirit and energy, earning the “Unity and Struggle Award” at this fun sports event.

This fun sports event not only allowed everyone to experience the joy of sports and showcase a positive spirit and strong teamwork skills, but also provided an excellent opportunity for employees from the city’s science and technology sector to interact and communicate with one another. Taking this sports event as an impetus, the Sino-Russian (Zhuji) International Laboratory will continue to uphold the sporting spirit of unity, collaboration, and relentless striving. With the sense of responsibility—“The mission is on our shoulders; I’ll be there to fight”—we will boldly take the lead, forge ahead with determination, and earnestly deliver outstanding services in scientific and technological innovation, thus making an even greater contribution to the city’s overall drive for scientific and technological advancement!
