The summer internship of graduate students from Xi'an Jiaotong University in the laboratory has come to a successful conclusion. On the afternoon of August 15, student Feng Minglu gave a summary and shared insights on the report titled “Research Progress on Drive Motors for All-Electric Aircraft.” Dr. Lei Li, the laboratory’s executive director, and the laboratory’s R&D technical staff attended the briefing.

The summer internship for graduate students at Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2022 has come to a successful conclusion. On the afternoon of August 15, student Feng Minglu gave a summary and shared insights on the report titled “Research Progress on Drive Motors for All-Electric Aircraft.” Dr. Lei Li, the laboratory’s executive director, and the lab’s R&D technical staff attended the briefing.

In his report, student Feng Minglu mainly presented the development trends and current status of electric aircraft propulsion motors. He analyzed and introduced the electromagnetic structure of the laboratory’s dual-rotor motor and examined its thermal characteristics. He also summarized the challenges currently faced by dual-rotor motors and engaged in exchanges and discussions with his colleagues in the lab.

Dr. Lei Li gave a high evaluation and praised student Feng Minglu for his report, and the laboratory awarded him the “Outstanding Intern” certificate of honor. During the internship, the students learned and worked together with everyone in the lab, completing various experimental tests. They have made significant progress in both knowledge accumulation and practical skills. We hope that in their future studies and lives, the students will build on their strengths, address their weaknesses, continuously improve themselves, and strive for even greater achievements.
