At 17:30 on September 17, 2020, Beijing time, four Chinese-Russian institutions—the Shanghai Research Institute of Xi'an Jiaotong University, the Sino-Russian Humanities Cooperation and Development Center, Siberian Electric Machinery Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., and the Association of Russian Universities—successfully held an online strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Kunshan, China; Moscow, Russia; and Xi'an, China.

At 17:30 on September 17, 2020, Beijing time, four Chinese and Russian institutions—the Shanghai Research Institute of Xi'an Jiaotong University, the Sino-Russian Humanities Cooperation and Development Center, Siberian Electric Machinery (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., and the Association of Russian Universities—successfully held an online strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Kunshan, China; Moscow, Russia; and Xi'an, China. Attending the ceremony were Dr. Lei Li, General Manager of Siberian Electric Machinery Co., Ltd.; Dr. Yin Bin, Chairman of the Sino-Russian Humanities Cooperation and Development Center; Mr. Geng Zhong, General Manager of the Xi'an Branch Center; and Mr. Alek, Vice Chairman of the Association of Russian Universities. This collaboration is guided by the shared aspiration to uphold the traditional friendship and cooperative development between China and Russia, and within the framework permitted by their respective laws, it aims to promote the development of both fundamental and applied sciences, establish and realize close cooperation among Chinese and Russian experts in the fields of science, technology, and engineering, and reach consensus on cooperation in areas such as exchange meetings and talent cultivation. Both sides’ leaders expressed that they will engage in deeper and more comprehensive cooperation in the future, working side by side and dedicating themselves to the advancement of scientific research. Against the backdrop of the Sino-Russian Year of Science and Technology, Sino-Russian scientific and technological cooperation will enter a new stage of depth and pragmatism!
