The laboratory was invited to revisit the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and signed a cooperation agreement. At the same time, it also visited the Georgian National Academy of Sciences and the Armenian National Academy of Sciences, laying the foundation for future collaboration.

The laboratory was invited to visit Dubai and signed a cooperation agreement with University of Dubai.
December 2023
Established the Russian Overseas Innovation Center
June 2023
Professor Brylev, Director of Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, was invited to visit the laboratory and officially accepted the appointment as a member of the academic committee of the laboratory.
May 2023
The laboratory’s core R&D team visited Russia and engaged in in-depth exchanges with more than 10 universities.
December 2022
The Sino-Russian (Zhuji) International Laboratory was officially established and opened.
August 2022
The Sino-Russian Joint Laboratory signed a contract with the Zhuji Municipal People's Government to jointly build the Sino-Russian (Zhuji) International Laboratory, and completed the laboratory registration in the same month.
2020
Dr. Lei Li’s team has been awarded the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent” title by Jiangsu Province and the “Gusu Leading Talent” title by Suzhou City.
November 2018
The Sino-Russian Joint Laboratory signed a cooperation agreement with Kunshan Huaqiao Economic Development Zone and officially landed in Huaqiao, Kunshan.
March 2016
Initiated by Dr. Lei Li of Xi'an Jiaotong University, an agreement was signed by Xi'an Jiaotong University, Novosibirsk State University, and the Shanghai Research Institute of Xi'an Jiaotong University to jointly build Sino-Russian joint Laboratory.
2012-2016
Since 2012, Dr. Lei Li’s team has been following up on this technology, conducting multiple reciprocal visits and tentatively initiating preliminary collaborations.
The 1970s to 1990s
Research was initiated during the Soviet era and has been steadily pursued under Russian rule.
